Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to and use of Hoop Hub PH. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. About Hoop Hub PH

Hoop Hub PH is an independently operated basketball platform based in Quezon City, Philippines. It provides tools for grassroots leagues, tournaments, teams, rosters, schedules, scoring, standings, statistics, announcements, and public basketball information.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create or operate a Hoop Hub PH account. Minor players may appear in authorized league and team records, but they must not independently register for or operate an account.

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Hoop Hub PH's own failure to use reasonable security measures.

Account access and features depend on approval status and assigned role. Hoop Hub PH may approve, reject, suspend, limit, or deactivate an account when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, enforce these Terms, or administer a league.

3. Roles and authority

Commissioners, coaches, team managers, scorekeepers, clock operators, and other authorized users may access different tools. You may use only the role and permissions assigned to you. You must not impersonate another person, bypass access controls, or attempt to use administrative or game-operation functions without authorization.

Anyone submitting information on behalf of a league, team, player, parent, or guardian represents that they have authority to do so.

4. League and competition records

Authorized users may create and manage schedules, rosters, lineups, scores, play-by-play entries, statistics, standings, brackets, approvals, and other competition records. Users responsible for those records must take reasonable steps to ensure they are accurate and complete.

League commissioners and organizers remain responsible for their competition rules, eligibility decisions, officiating, discipline, protests, awards, and final rulings. Hoop Hub PH provides recordkeeping and publication tools but is not a governing sports body and does not replace official league rules or authorized human decisions.

5. Public information and minors

Selected player, team, league, tournament, schedule, score, standing, bracket, photo, and statistical information may be published publicly. Users who submit or approve public information must have the right and authority to publish it.

If a record concerns a minor, the submitting organizer, commissioner, coach, or team representative must ensure that appropriate notice has been given and any required authorization has been obtained from the minor's parent or legal guardian. Hoop Hub PH may restrict or remove content while an authorization or privacy concern is reviewed.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, unlawful, or unauthorized content;
manipulate scores, statistics, standings, account roles, approvals, or competition records dishonestly;
upload content that infringes privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
harass, threaten, exploit, or endanger another person, particularly a minor;
scrape, harvest, sell, or misuse personal data or public profiles;
introduce malware, probe for vulnerabilities, disrupt the service, overload systems, or evade security controls; or
use Hoop Hub PH for unlawful gambling, match-fixing, fraud, or any illegal activity.

7. User content

You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit. You grant Hoop Hub PH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote, and improve the platform and its basketball services.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions for submitted names, logos, photos, announcements, records, and other content. Hoop Hub PH may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, applicable law, league requirements, or another person's rights.

8. No payments at launch

Hoop Hub PH does not currently process registration fees, subscriptions, prize money, or other payments through the platform. If paid features are introduced, applicable fees, payment terms, and refund rules will be disclosed before users complete a transaction. Additional or updated terms may apply.

9. Availability and changes

Hoop Hub PH is being developed and may contain errors, interruptions, delays, or incomplete features. We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We will try to preserve important competition records and provide reasonable notice of material changes when practical, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

10. Accuracy and corrections

Scores, statistics, schedules, rosters, standings, brackets, and profiles may be entered by authorized users and may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Contact the relevant league administrator or support@hoophub.xyz to request review. A displayed record is not guaranteed to be an official ruling unless confirmed by the responsible league authority.

11. Third-party services and links

The platform relies on third-party hosting, database, authentication, email, domain, and other service providers and may link to external websites. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. Hoop Hub PH is not responsible for third-party services or websites that it does not control.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Hoop Hub PH is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every record will be complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Hoop Hub PH does not provide medical, legal, financial, officiating, safeguarding, or professional sports advice. Participation in basketball involves physical risks. Players, parents, teams, schools, organizers, coaches, and leagues remain responsible for health clearances, supervision, safety procedures, venues, equipment, insurance, emergency response, and compliance with applicable rules and laws.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hoop Hub PH and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the platform, reliance on user-submitted competition records, third-party services, or unauthorized conduct by another user.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Hoop Hub PH at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support. Hoop Hub PH may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for a material or repeated violation of these Terms, security risk, unlawful conduct, dishonest competition manipulation, or conduct that threatens users or the platform.

Public competition records may be retained, corrected, anonymized, or removed as reasonably necessary for legitimate league records, privacy rights, disputes, security, and legal obligations.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected. It forms part of these Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be submitted to the courts with proper jurisdiction in Quezon City, Philippines, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Hoop Hub PH develops. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. If a change materially affects registered users, we may provide additional notice or request acceptance where appropriate. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
